The breakfast options were good, especially the full Scottish breakfast. The location required a long walk uphill from the city center.

I had a canny 3-night stay, the hosts were proper friendly, always making sure I was comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight too! Only downside was the slight noise from the main road, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Would come back in a heartbeat!

The shower pressure was surprisingly low. Walking back from the city center seemed like an uphill marathon, and cabs couldn't get close enough to the entrance. The location was not as convenient as I expected, given the other reviews.

The shower pressure was a bit on the low side, which may be an issue for those used to stronger systems.

The food was great and there were a great selection of dishes in the menu. The rooms were cheap, neat, came with a beautiful big bedroom, coffee, for example. Location: the hotel was near transport and walking around town, Arkaig, and city centre bars and restaurants.

The breakfast here is fantastic, with quality ingredients and a range of options that stand out, especially if you enjoy a hearty meal to start your day. Plus, there's secure indoor parking for motorcycles, a solid perk if you're traveling on two wheels.
The pressure on the electric shower is a bit weak, which might bother those used to more robust systems. The location requires a 20-minute uphill walk from the city center, and getting a cab close can be tricky due to how the traffic flows. A few rooms could really use some updates. For instance, there were complaints about kettles needing replacement, and the TV in one room had limited channels. Lastly, check your room options closely. I heard about some confusion over extra fees not being clearly communicated at check-in.

will choose it for sure next trip.
I had a Double Room with Private Bathroom. The room was equipped with a Tv, Free toiletries, and a Hairdryer. Super comfy bed with fresh Linen. The shower was great, and there were towels provided. Such good heating and the room was carpeted. Plus, the location is quiet despite being near town, so I slept well.

The Budget Single Room was comfy and well-kept. I really appreciated the high cleanliness standards and the hosts' attention to detail. Despite being on a busy road, the windows kept the noise out pretty well. The bed was cozy. The in-room amenities, like tea and coffee facilities, were a nice touch too.

great hosts but some noise issues
The hosts were friendly. I particularly appreciated the flexible check-in and check-out times. The breakfast options were good, especially for a vegetarian like me, with an excellent variety of choices. The garden view from the room was a refreshing sight each morning.
There was some noise from the main road that could be heard at times, which disrupted the tranquil atmosphere.

This was a good pick for a city holiday in Aberdeen with good value for cost. The warm water in the shower was really appreciated. Consider using the bus stop right outside for easy transportation.
